A Quiet Space for Meaninful Change.

A Quiet Space for Meaninful Change.

Meet your Clinician! I’m Leria Beverly, LPC-Associate under the supervision of Mauricio Miranda, LPC-S. I received my MA of Professional Counseling from Angelo State University, graduating Summa Cum Laude. I also hold an MBA and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from Jackson State University.

My committment to you lies in providing collaborative care that recognizes your unique experiences, strengths, and needs. I utilize an eclectic and integrative counseling approach, incorporating evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Person-Centered Therapy. My academic background is focused on human behavior within society, organizations, and institutions, supporting a holistic understanding of clients and the systems that influence their well-being. I am passionate about serving people from different walks of life, and specialize in multiculturalism.

My refined approach harmonizes cognitive and somatic techniques, inviting clients to explore depth, resilience, and quiet confidence. In this considered setting, each individual can appreciate the subtle ways in which therapy becomes a true act of self-preservation.

Outside of my profession, I am a regular person just like you. I enjoy reading, creating, performing arts shows, exploring different restaurants, and doing outdoor activities with my children. I also love going to new places and trying new things, building memories that I can happily reflect on much later in life. I strongly believe in learning something from each experience, whether positive or negative. My personal life experiences have given me valuable insight on how to navigate challenges and view them through a professional lense. This way, when I encounter similar situations going forward, I am able to use my beginner error to facilitate better outcomes for myself. I try to find enjoyment in small things because despite the fact that we live in a chaotic world, these little things can serve as a reminder of hope.

If you are interested in talking to see if we are a good fit, I welcome you to book a free, 15-minute consultation with me by reaching out through the contact form. Choosing to do therapy can be a difficult and scary decision, but it is also one of the bravest choices you can make. This isn’t just a career for me, it’s a reflection of what I believe in. I’m here to create work that matters, with a great commitment to quality and care.
